What we collect
When you apply we collect:
- Your name, email and mobile (as the parent or guardian).
- Your kid's first name, age range, state, postcode and details you type in.
- Photos and a short video of your kid that you choose to upload.
- Your answers to the application questions.
- Basic tech info — device type, referring link, UTM tags — so we can improve the form.
Why we collect it
- To look at the application and decide whether to invite you to an interview.
- To email or text you about your application (e.g. your result, resume link, interview invite).
- To send you occasional marketing emails only if you tick the opt-in box. You can unsubscribe any time.
Where it's stored
Your information is stored in secure cloud infrastructure with encrypted connections and access controls. Photos and videos are kept in a private bucket that isn't publicly reachable.
Who sees it
Only the Bubblegum Casting team (casting staff, reviewers and admin support). We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing. We only share details with a casting client if you're being put forward for a specific job — and only after we've spoken with you.
Kids' information
We only accept applications submitted by a parent or legal guardian. We treat photos, videos and personal details of children with extra care: private storage, limited internal access, and no re-use for marketing or ad testing.
How long we keep it
We keep application data for as long as the application is active plus a reasonable period afterwards (typically up to 24 months) so we can reach out if a suitable role comes up. You can ask us to delete it sooner — see below.
Access, correction and deletion
To see, correct or delete your information, email casting@bubblegumcasting.com.au with your kid's reference number. We'll action reasonable requests within 30 days.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small amount of local storage on your device so you can pause and resume the application. We may also use privacy-friendly analytics to see which parts of the form work well — we don't sell this data.
